I don't usually write journal entries; the last one was the first for this account, and I haven't written since. Therefore this is special. Very very special to me.  Years ago, I saw a number of semi-realistic renders of Naruto characters, and they wowed me. I dreamed of one day being able to draw and paint like that. Ever since, I've subconsciously compared my art to those paintings. Today, I finally measured up. So, erm. I realized I have never posted a journal entry on this account.  My page looks so dead without my own voice on it, so here's my attempt at CPR-ing it back to life! I guess I've felt that my life is too busy with med school to write anything that the art world would wanna read.
